I know that when I go after something, I’m all in. It’s true now but it has been true all of my life.

I knew I wanted to do hair when I was in 7th grade and in 1989 I became a hairstylist. I recognized we needed better access to our tools to help us work more efficiently and in 2014, Salon Armor® was established. Today there are three published patents of functional wrist and body armor products that hold shears, clips, comb and makeup brushes conveniently at the wrist using magnets and strategically designed straps. The magnetic wristbands have been featured in magazines, TV shows and music videos.

Salon Armor® distributes worldwide and is worn by celebrity stylists.

My dad introduced me to golf in 8th grade and I immediately fell in love with the game after my first long drive. I was adamant that I would never marry anyone who didn’t play the game and in 1987, I married a USAF fighter pilot and golfer. We currently live on the 9th green where we’ve raised our 2 boys. We have 7 hole in ones in the family including our son at age 10 and I’ve achieved the goal of a 14x Women’s Club Champion.

One day on the tee box, I was frustrated digging for a lost tee in my ponytail because I did not have a pocket. I needed a better solution for access to my tools and The Tee Band™ was drawn in my mind by the time the ball was in the hole. Now it is ok if my clothes don’t have pockets and I don’t dig in my pocket trying to locate the right tool plus there are less tools on the kitchen and bathroom counters.
